She cried out as she couldn't move she closed her eyes a bit, as she looked seeing who it was... It was an old friend of hers as she just turned her head away as she couldn't believe he was doing this to her...

She shook her head crying as she was thinking about it as she didn't want to look at him, didn't want to see someone she cared about hurting her... She was feeling like everyone hated her.

She looked at him with tears in her eyes.

Jessica: You never attacked me like this... Hurt me, drugged me...

She said seeing she was tied as she was bloody from him being so mean and rough with her...

Jessica: I've had a horrible night.

She frowned when he said that as she was thinking about it feeling bad for him... Even after what he did to her, she was still too caring.

Jessica: I'm sorry... She's hormonal...

She said knowing she was pregnant.

She nodded as she understood that, but also knew that she had a lot of issues with her health so it wans't all her fault.

Jessica: I'm sorry.

She sat there thinking about it as she looked around a bit, seeing he had tied her in a basement as she kind of knew where she was as it didn't really make her deal.

Jessica: Can you take me back to my car, please?

She asked exhausted as she just wanted to rest.....

She smiled a bit as she looked at him.

Jessica: I could never hate my only friend.

She shrugged a bit as she was use to people doing that to her, she patted his arm  bit.


Jessica: It's alright.


She said as she let him lead her out they headed upstairs as they were going past the room, she saw her tutor, Michael in a room as she thought about how mean he had been to her at the club and in general all the time.... Good place for him, at east she would get some peace, and he was dropping out anyways... Shane led her out and took her home knowing where she lived she hugged him, and watched him leave as she went inside cleaning up, and then laying down a bit thinking about everything..

She shook her head smiling softly as she didn't mind.

Jessica: No I don't mind, come on in.

She said smiling as she let him in...

Jessica: Kind of like our teen years when you were needing a place to crash cause you made your step dad angry.

She laughed a bit remembering how he would often sleep over at her place on the couch thru the high school years... A lot had changed since then.

She smiled warmly as she looked at him thinking about it, they had been friends for a long time.

Jessica: I'm glad I could be there for you when you needed me.

She said as she was thinking about it.

She shook her head as she was thinking about it.

Jessica: I doubt it... As much as we liked each other, we don't love each other that way.

She said knowing that, he had always been her best friend, but he never had been in love with her, and she was fine with that, she was just happy to have someone in her life who didn't hate her, or thought she was a burden to be around... Thinking about that..

Jessica: What is going to happen to Michael in there?

She asked knowing that his brother Mark was in there so figured it wouldn't be to rough on him, seeing he already was up in the nicer rooms..

She kind of felt bad for him, knowing all the plans he had and how hard he worked on his grades she nodded her head as she knew he hated her.

Jessica: He hates me so much, thinks I'm a lost cause.

She said as she thought about it..

Jessica: Is there any way for him to get out... He's worked so hard on his grades, and I know that it will destroy him to not be able to finish college..

She said knowing he had such high career hopes...

She sat there thinking about it...

Jessica: What if I went back in..

He looked at her shocked..

Jessica: Face it Shane, its not like I have a big bright future to work for... I'm dropping out anyways, he has worked so hard, and no matter how much of a jerk he is, he doesn't deserve to lose it all...

She said seeing him think about it, he knew she didn't owe him any favors but nodded after a moment, knowing that would work...

Jessica: Thank you, Shane.....

She looked at him a bit shocked when he said that as she thought about it then shook her head.

Jessica: It's not that you drugged him right?

He nodded as she knew how this worked by now..

Jessica: I was the last person he was yelling at... He came into my work giving me hell and calling me names because I had to work and couldn't study... He told me I was just wasting the schools time and his and if I was a decent human being I'd just drop out..

She sighed thinking about it, knowing he didn't like her as Shane nodded a bit rubbing her back thinking about it... Feeling bad for how she was being treated.

Jessica: It's alright, just let him out and I'll go in...

She said willing to trade herself for him to be happy.

She knew the drugs would wear off as she shook her head.

Jessica: Don't tell him I'm in there, the drugs will wear off and he'll be fine.

She looked at him thinking about it... She didn't know what she was suppose to do.

Jessica: What am I suppose to do then?  I want him out here so he can finish going to school like I know is his dream.....

She thought about it as she looked at him.

Jessica: Just don't tell him I'm in there... Let him think I left the city, if he don't know where I am he can't follow.....

She looked at him when he asked as she thought about it, thought about all the things he had ever said about her and knew that she wasn't the kind of woman he always wanted.

Jessica: I'm not good enough for him, Shane...

She sighed thinking about it...

Jessica: I'm a nobody.

She looked at him when he said that as she nodded her head after a moment.

Jessica: Okay...

She sat there a bit.

Jessica: I'll think on things and sleep on it...

She said as she was feeling tired... She knew he knew where the blankets and stuff was as she went into her room... She stripped down cleaning up, and then went into bed as she was confused she didn't know what to do, she just wanted things to be okay...  She closed her eyes as she started to drift off to sleep.... She felt hands on her as she thought it was Shane at first..

Jessica: Go to bed Shane.

She moved a bit turning some to look as she was shocked when she saw who it was.

Jessica: Michael....

She kissed him back a moment still in a sleep haze, but she started to wake up more putting her hand on his chest... Shocked when she realized he was naked...

Jessica: Michael, you don't really want me...You've been drugged...

She said not wanting him to feel bad about this later if the drugs did wear off...

Jessica: Go to the hospital, they are really good with the drugs from the hideout...

She said knowing they could fix him.

She kissed him back with tears in her eyes as she knew show she felt about him, she loved him but she knew how he really felt about her and cared to much to do this to him, she pushed a bit.

Jessica: Come with me please..

She said getting up and getting dressed as he followed her not wanting to be away from her, she snuck out with out Shane seeing them as she got him to the hospital as David help tie him down seeing he couldn't keep his hands off Jessica..

Jessica: David he was drugged in the hideout... He needs help.

David nodding knowing the signs, she watched as they started as looked at him.

Jessica: You'll be better soon..

She said as she would miss this him, but she knew it wasn't right... After a few hours he was out cold, she stay by just in case she was needed..... After the next few hours he started to wake up... He looked at her looking a bit disgusted as he was tied down.

Jessica: I'm sorry, i'll get the doctor.

Michael: Try not to trip , blondie..

She frowned a bit seeing he was back to normal..  she went and got the doctor as she stayed a bit, after he told her to get lost she did though walking down the streat heading home, glad he was going to be okay.

She shrugged a bit as she was thinking about it, as she was pretty use to it by now and felt like it was true.

Jessica: It's alright, you're only telling me the truth...

She paused a moment.

Jessica: I took your advice and dropped out, so you don't have to waste your time on a dummy.

She said as she started to leave.

Jessica: I'm glad you're alright.... Take care.

She said in a small voice as she left his room letting him get his rest... She saw his big brother Mark rushing in, hearing that he had been taken as she moved out of the way, as she saw Mark hug his brother, she then took her leave, leaving the hospital..

Mark went out to get her, but she was already gone, as he looked a bit but didn't see her as he then went back in telling Michael that she was already gone, wondering why he wanted her back anyways as even he seemed to think he didn't care for her by how he treated her..

She opened the door looking at him shocked to see him.

Jessica: Yes?.

She was shocked when he did that, more shocked when he kissed her like he did as she looked up at him after a moment thinking he was drugged at first, but he didn't look drugged..

Jessica: But.. I thought you could barely stand being around me...

She said sadly remembering some of the things he had said about her... .

She looked at him pushing away a bit, she had low self esteem.

Jessica: You shouldn't love me, you can do so much better than me, I'm just a nobody..

She looked up at him as she just felt she was so wrong for him, he shouldn't love her as she shook her head a bit, not feeling good enough to do this.

Jessica: I'm sorry I can't...

She said as she backed away she saw him frown knowing that he was hurt, she looked down rubbing her arm a bit as she felt bad her self esteem was bad and she didn't have high self worth either... She watched him just turn and walk out, as she felt tears as the door closed... She stood there by the door..

Jessica: I love you, too..

She said a bit after he was gone, knowing that he didn't hear her..

She thought about it as she would never leave her friend hanging if she could help it.

Jessica: Sure.

She said as he seemed happy... When she hung up she went cleaning up a bit, not wanting him to see that she had been crying, knowing he was going thru so much already..

She looked at him thinking about it as she took his hand nodding as she followed him..

She looked shocked as he helped her set down, she could see he had done all this for her as she smiled a bit not use to it... Not use to him being nice at all.

Jessica: It's pretty.

She looked at him when he said that as she couldn't understand why someone as great as he was would love someone like her...

Jessica: I'm nothing, you can do so much better than me.

She looked at him when he said that as she didn't understand how he changed from barely being able to stand her to loving her like this.

Jessica: Just the other day you acted as if you could barely stand the site of me..

She looked at him when he said that.

Jessica: Protect me?

She asked as he went to explaining about his brother and the hideout.

Jessica: I know all about the hideout....How do you think you got out... I've known Shane since we were kids, were best friends... I saw you in there, when he brought me in, and was letting me back out... I offered to change places so you could come out....I know how important your schooling is..

She looked at him when he said that as she was just so shocked as she didn't know what to think, she wasn't use to this.

Jessica: I'm so confused.

She said honestly..

She sat there as she was thinking about it.

Jessica: You're just so great... Perfect, but so far from that.

She said as she sat there playing with her fingers a bit as she didn't think much of herself as he pulled her close to him.

Michael: Stop saying that... Stop cutting yourself short, Jessica, I'm sorry I made you feel so bad about yourself, I was wrong... You are perfect the way you are.

He said as he wanted her to know how he really felt as she leaned against him after a moment as she looked up at him.

Jessica: Thank you.

She looked at him as she thought about it a moment, she didn't want to tell him no, so she didn't...

Jessica: Alright.

She looked at him as it meant so much to hear him say that, to have someone care for her, love her and want her was just so new to her.

Jessica: I love you, too..

She looked at him as she nodded her head thinking about it.

Jessica: I'm sorry, I was scared I'm not use to this, I didn't think someone as great as you would want someone like me..

She sat there thinking about it.

Jessica: It's okay..

She shook her head thinking about it, as she knew he was right, she couldn't juggle three jobs and school it was just too hard, and with her being so young and living on her own, she needed the jobs...

Jessica: No its okay, I have good jobs, I really don't have time for school... But thank you.

She looked at him as she smiled warmly thinking about it.

Jessica: Maybe later down the road, but right now we're just starting out.

She said as she was still wanting to make sure she was what he was wanting, still thinking he could find better than her..

She kissed him back as she looked at him.

Jessica: I love you, too..

She nodded as she got up and walked with him, as they were talking a bit... She wanted to get something out in the air so it didn't come up as an issue later... Since Shane seemed to be a mutual friend of theres.

Jessica: Shane and I have been together, not dating but we have been together... We've been friends since we were in school....but never in love.

She thought about it as she had forgiven him for it, she knew that he was stressed out of his mind, and the fighting with his wife wasn't helping him.

Jessica: Shane doesn't handle stress well, he has been trying so hard to make his wife happy but with her being pregnant and having other health issues her moods have been pretty bad, and she had kicked him out again, and he was really mad, rather him take it out on me than her in her state.

She said as she was defending him a little bit...

She nodded as she knew he was right.

Jessica: I know, but he felt really bad about it.

She said as she was thinking about it, and besides if he didn't do what he did, I wouldn't of even known you were in the hideout...

She looked at him when he said that.

Jessica: I was going to trade places with you.

He looked at her shocked not knowing that she had been willing to give up her freedom from his... It was just how much she cared about him and wanted him to be happy.

She thought about it.

Jessica: I'm glad that we're both out her, but we need to be careful and make sure that we don't let anyone know where you were, I don't want to risk them hurting Shane for helping me get you out.

She said knowing how they could be inside and didn't want him or his wife harmed.

She shook her head as  she knew he had no idea how it worked there.

Jessica: They don't care, they will kill there own blood if they feel like it... If anyone goes against them and what they are doing they are as good as dead...
