Colin couldn't help but look around the place.

"Does anybody wear clothes around here?"

He couldn't help laughing when she said that.

"Please, stay. I have no clue where anything is around here. I'll get lost in my first five minutes."

He nodded and smiled.

"Thank you. Tell Destiny her uncle says hi."

Colin nodded and smiled.

"I don't have to be on set until tomorrow. I have an evening to fill. What is there to do around here?"

The gym sounded tempting. Very tempting.

He looked closely at Amari seeing how pretty she was.

"I think dinner sounds great. Join me?"

He saw a look on her face and frowned a little.

"Is there something you would rather do?"

He smiled and nodded.

"Maybe after dinner we can check out the gym?"

He grinned glad he had a work out partner for the evening.

"Do you need to go home and get any work out clothes or something?"

He looked at her thinking.

"My short work outs are usually three hours. Think you can handle it?"

He grinned hearing that.

"What is your favorite activity in the gym?"

He thought about what she said.

"I haven't tried the sparring or the martial arts. I mostly do a little cardio then focus on the weights."

He looked at her and smiled.

"Maybe tonight I'll have my first lesson then."

He shrugged.

"I'm more of the lover type than a fighter."

He smiled when she said that.

"The world would be boring if everybody was the same."

He put the last of his things in the closet then turned to look at Amari.

"Where would you like to go for dinner and will clothes be optional?"

He thought about it then nodded.

"That sounds good.

He stripped down to his underwear.

"I'm ready."

He saw her checking him out and grinned. His boxer briefs didn't leave much to the imagination.

"Think you concentrate on the dinner conversation?"

He reached over and opened the top two buttons of her shirt.

"It's only fair. If you are going to keep your clothes on, at least give me something."

He nodded and grinned.

"I'm starving."

Colin went on down to eat then back to his room to change before going to the gym. He figured that if she wanted to, when she was finished she would come back. He had already told her he would be in the gym for at least three hours.

Colin frowned as he listened.

"Is Destiny okay? I should call and check on her."

He frowned and looked at her.

"Who is Reese?"

He felt better knowing his niece would have somewhere safe to stay.

"So the attack was on not only Destiny, but the DA also?"

He frowned thinking about that.

"I hope you guys...and gals...catch this person before anybody else can be hurt."

He looked at her when she said that last  part.

"You think he'll get to Destiny?"

He didn't like that. His niece was in danger and he hated it.

"Will you please keep me up to date on what is going on with the case? Just the things you are able to tell me. I don't want you to get into trouble."

"Thank you."

He picked up one of the dumbells to start working on his arms. It helped him relieve stress.

"I checked out a martial arts class tonight."

He looked at her and shook his head.

"I'll take the ass kicking. That class was hard."

It sounded fine to him, but he had to pick on her a bit.

"I don't know. Like you said, you aren't a Granger. We may even like each other."

He had shaken his head but then grinned.

"After my ex-wife, maybe I would prefer a Granger man."

He grabbed her phone and grinned as he went into her contact list. He added his number to it then sent a message to his phone so he would have her number.

He grinned as he picked a random number and dialed. He was glad when a guy answered on the other side.

"Hello. This is Doctor Wayne. I was calling to congratulate you on becoming a father tonight. Amari Rose had quintuplets a few hours ago and has listed you as their father."

He hung up the phone as Amari reached for it. He let her have the phone as he sat there laughing.

He laughed hearing who he had called.

"He married?"

He laughed even harder hearing the guy had a girl.

"At least she'll know that it was just a joke and won't dump him for it."

He looked over at her grinning.

"In case you haven't figured it out, I'm one of the less serious Sweets."

He nodded and smiled.

"Get togethers sure are fun at holidays."

Colin ran over to her frowning.

"Are you okay, Amari?"

He sat down and sighed.

"So this is what my niece has been dealing with?"

He thought about the girls being in danger.

"I don't like it. It's time for them to find a safer job. Maybe teaching people to jump from airplanes or bungee jumping."

He nodded already knowing that.  He just didn't like the danger aspect of the job.

"I just hate what's going on right now."

He was happy to hear that.

"Good. Hopefully she can tell who is doing this and they can put an end to it."

He didn't like hearing that.

"Hopefully they can catch him soon."

He thought about what had happened to the two of them earlier.

"Why do you think he left the two of us alone?"

He looked at her thinking.

"So are you still here to protect me, or am I now protecting you?"

He smiled looking at her.

"Have you eaten dinner?"

He reached for her hand.

"Let's get you some food."

He shrugged.

"From what I've heard, if I'm going to be here around my family, I better get used to it."

He nodded agreeing with her.

"Unfortunately that's true. No matter where they go, trouble follows them."

Collin shrugged.

"I hope so."

He noticed the restaurant was still open. He went in with her and they were led to a table.

"I think I've worked up an appetite again."

He found what he was wanting and sat the menu aside.

"Dinner is my treat tonight. Order anything you would like."

He understood that.

"We can exercise more in my room if you want. I'm sure I can think of ways to keep you awake."

He shrugged and grinned.

"Naked twister?"
